It's been a while.

Ok, so it's been a while since i last posted. Not got a lot of 'Mojo' going on still, but i'm sure i will get there eventually. It's not for want of trying. Being so disorganised doesn't help tho. I have never been this bad. But hopefully now i am waking up on the other side of the nightmare that took over my life just over 3 years ago, maybe i will start to get the creative juices flowing again. Especially with a little help from Connie from Dirty Footprints Studio and her Total Alignment Free workshop.

I don't have a lot to say at the moment. I am finally moving house on Sat. But should be back online for Sunday. I can't believe how quick it is happening now & how smoothly things are running. My life isn't usually this easy.
I am feeling a bit down & stressed as moving can do this to you can't it? But hopefully in a couple of weeks i will be blogging most days & getting back into my art & jewellery making.
I have had lots of new beads delivered & have bought loads of new acrylic paint cos i want to start an Art Journal too. And hopefully sell some of my Jewellery.
I have also started my development group at Grimsby Spiritualist Church so if you're interested i will keep you up to date or i may even start a blog just solely related to that. I will think on it for a couple of days.
I have had a rough few years & one day i will tell you all about it cos i am probly not making much sense. Some of you know, and some of you don't. I will catch you all really really soon & look forward to getting my life back on track. xx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Actually, no i wont cos i'm feeling good & positive about my move. I'm just going to spend the day packing, packing and, oh yeah, more packing. My mate Debs has just delivered a bottle of wine for me so i know wot i will be doing later when i get back from church. Will be good to see my friends again, i haven't been all week & am looking forward to seeing them.
I have just finished my daughter in laws Mother's Day present from my son in memory of their two little girls that were born too soon. I got the idea from a Facebook friend, Angel Mazz who makes Jewellery & Charms as her business. I don't make the bracelets to sell tho as that is her idea. I just wanted to make this special one for Georgina.
So here it is.

Well, here as promised are a few pics of my latest jewellery creations. The chain on the pendants will be different from the pic, i have ordered Antique Silver coloured curb chain for them. I think it will work better.
I have put some prices underneath each each pic, if anyone would like to let me know if these sound right or not, cos have never really made anything for selling before. Any comments & constructive criticism will be most greatly appreciated.

Well, here i am back online again. It didn't take me as long as i thought to pay the bill. I hope to get the keys to my new flat next Tues. & hopefully by the end of next week i will be moved from the hellhole that has been my home (and i use the word 'home' very very loosely) for 2 yrs.
But it means that i will be offline again for only a few (hopefully) days until i get reconnected in my new place.
I can't wait to unpack & unleash the creative muse that seems to have reared it's head now that everything is packed away & off limits for a couple of weeks. Doesn't it always happen? When your brain goes haywire with ideas, you can't get to to your crafting stash. Ah well, not too long to go & in the meantime i will be posting some pieces of jewellery i have for sale. Just not sure of prices & where to sell it all yet.

Here are some pics of my jewellery & bag charms. The plan was to make & hopefully sell some stuff but I am making bag charms for the girlies in the family first. There are lots of girlies tho so it may take a while to make any money. LOL.
Any feedback on whether these would sell these would be gratefully appreciated as i have never made anything for sale before & just wondered if you think anyone would be interested or if in fact they are good enough for selling.

I'm thinking of making earrings and other jewellery in colours that represent our Guardian Angels.

I love this set. I'm not sure whether to sell it or keep it.

A New Day.

Well, another new day & hopefully a nice one. I haven't been on here much cos of lack of time, energy & 'mojo' going AWOL every now & again. One day soon it will come back & stay put.
I am packing to move but not sure when or even where i am going yet. (Long story, I'll tell you about it sometime). So most of my paints, glue, papers etc are neatly tucked away inside one of the many cardboard boxes that i keep falling over. I am hoping to make a dedicated, however tiny, space for my crafting rather than dragging boxes out all the time & never knowing where anything is & also so i can see exactly what i have. There are lots of things that i have forgotten about. I'm sure that this move will be a step in the right direction as far as creating goes. I have so many 'arty' ideas but no way of putting them into action til i get out of the hellhole that is my abode at the moment.
I have started making jewellery tho & that takes up such a small space, (early days, watch this space) that i wont pack it til the last moment. So piccies of things i have made already will follow later on today
My cat is also ready to have her kittens and if she doesn't hurry up i swear she'll explode. I'm so excited, i can't wait to see them.
I may be going offline in a few days so if you don't hear from me then i'll see ya all when i get back.

My baby's Angel Day.

3 yrs 2day my gorgeous lad. I can't believe i have come this far without you. People ask me how i cope, but i av 2 say that i have no idea. I just keep thinking about the day that i will see you again cos i know i will & that, along with Stefan & Shakur keep me going.
I know you're still near cos i feel you all the time. You have a lovely day with the Angels my darling & i'll see you soon. I love you gorgeous. xxx

Here are some of the cards, gothics & chunkies i made for the Collage-A-thon over at ATCSFORALL.  I didn't get as much done as i usually do but then i never do.

I keep thinking i got my 'mojo' back but then it goes AWOL again.
But i always manage to come up with something & i have another day of the CAT left as it doesn't finish til midnight on the 14th. 

The Feb Collage-A-Thon.

Well the weekend is almost upon us & the great Collage-A-Thon is only a few hours away over at atcsforall. My fave 'A-Thon of all cos i luv to collage. I will post all my artistic efforts here with news of any trades. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I luv these 'A-Thon' weekends & luv getting pretties thru the mail. So hopefully i will be able to fill a few more pages in my ATC album. Although people are making anything from ATC's to Gothic Arches & anything in between.
I got a phone call from my cousin last week. She wants me to make her an album with a Scottish theme. I don't need to have it ready until June time but i thought i had better start getting it ready now, or, ideas at least. Cos i'm bad for leaving stuff until the last minute.
So anyway, she & some friends are gonna climb Ben Nevis & take pics along the way & wants somewhere to show them off. She doesn't want anything too over the top in the way of pages, ideas along the lines of purple/heather/ green pages, but with a decorated cover. My idea was to watercolour wash some pages with those colours & maybe some 'tartan' papers. If anyone knows of anywhere i can find them then i would be eternally grateful, cos i don't fancy having to paint 'tartan'. Was going to use watercolour paper, cos i have lots of it & when it is covered & collaged & acrylic'd over it becomes quite sturdy & strong. I suppose i could Gesso it 1st & acrylic over cos have never been that fantastic at Watercolour anyway. Was just wishful thinking on my part i think. I dreamt of being another Turner with dramatic seas or Monet & his water lillies.
I am just thinking out loud here & probly not making much sense. But if i'm talking to myself after a couple of glasses of wine, who cares. It's just between me & me. Right? But if anyone out there is listening/reading or wotever, & can link to anything Scotishy, re. papers. Then let me know please.
I am sure some idea will hit me like a brick eventually, & if not then it's on to plan B, which i havent thought about yet. But watch this space.

I haven't blogged much so thought i'd better show my recent acheivements, all be it small ones for now.
These are some of the tags i have been making for the Tag Book Swap over on Crafty Mess. I started with an acrylic background, then collaged it. I luv collage as you will probly tell as time goes on. You can't have an accident with collage, it just works. That's my excuse anyway & i'm sticking to it. 

I inked all over the edges with various colours, wotever takes my fancy at the time, then added bits & bobs, flowers, buttons etc. I hope whoever receives this will enjoy it as much as i did making it.

WooHoo! I'm so excited & i just can't hide it.

I am new to Blogging so be gentle with me as i am still finding my way aroung my own site, never mind another one. But i will do my best & hopefully you will enjoy looking at my artwork.

This is my first attempt at creating anything grungy. I had a ball making it.

It was inspired by a video by tatteredangels shared  over on Craftymess and of course Sir Tim.
It's painted with acrylics, Liquid Pearls, inked, stamped & had just about everything thrown at it.
The flower is made with an old music sheet and painted with Twinkling H2O's. Scrunched up & rubbed over with a black ink pad.

I'm dead pleased with the result and have entered it into the Crafty Cardmakers Floral Challenge.

I'm back!!!

Well, i'm back & still no followers but then there is nothing much to see yet. LOL.
Well so much for taking part in the challenges. I was unceremoniously kicked offline by my ISP before Christmas this is my first time back here. I'm gonna try & post regularly but there is so much going on in my life (not all good) that it may not be every day. I have a house move on the cards, don't know where or when (long story)but it'd deffo coming. So in between packing i will try & get some art done. Watch this space.
